“Who wants to buy these?” I said as I watched the people passing by the game shelf. No one seemed to take notice or care; they walked away without a second glance. When the last of these words left my mouth someone walked from around the corner slamming me against the game racks. His dark hair and soft looks were seemingly honest, and when I hit the racks, four games fell, which I caught gracefully.
He asked, “how much are they?”
Of course I had to respond, “One dollar each!”
After this statement he went on, I suppose he did not care for the games. A few people passed me, three our four it seemed. Most of them were of no interest, not seeming to have anything special about them. However, as the second person to pass me came, I noticed that he was holding a video camera, I had thought he was recording everything at the moment, but I could have been wrong.
The fourth person to pass me, he was an ominous being with pale skin and red hair. When he passed I could feel his evil, and had a prophetic vision of what was to come, feeling as if it had already came to pass. This vision, it was of a horror and bloodshed that would come, though the only sight and sound I saw was that of the red haired boy losing control and unleashing some sort of evil power that slowly destroyed his immediate surroundings. Of course from this instant I began to flee, as I was fleeing I happened to see a girl in the direction I was heading who asked what was happening, I told her that there was a murderer in the mall and he was going to kill us all. She was holding her graduation uniform in a bag on her left, she had just came to get it, and had not yet paid for it. As we passed the security the alarm went off and the glass doors shut. I immediately began breaking the glass. The girl tried to break the glass above the bar on the window, instead of the glass below the bar, which would be far harder to get over with the fact that pieces of glass would be left on the sides that she would have to step over. I broke the glass on the bottom, so that we could just step over the ground. When we finally made it out people were asking what was going on, and I started telling them. “There is a murderer in there, he is going to kill us all.”
As people started flooding to get out of the mall, it seemed no one knew what the red haired boy looked like except me. I could not describe him any better than saying he was a pale red-haired boy. This made everyone look at me when red headed boys walked from the mall doors. I eventually just started shaking my head in reply to there fears as “no.”
Then I suddenly remembered the boy with the video-camera. If he was recording he would have the boys face on film.
I was not so lucky. He had only been watching a previous recording of some event that took place in the woods. Then everyone started driving away except for the girl with the bag because she had a friend that she was here with I suppose, and I would have left myself but I had no care. I was urging her to get in the car and drive away, and hopefully bring me with her!
Finally her friend arrived and they both sat down in front of the mall doors that you could not seem behind, and started packing up their things. I told them “we need to go, all three of us need to get in your car and get the hell out of here.”
The girl’s friend responded that maybe we should all just run, and I had to tell her that it was a better idea to get in the car. She then took something of mine and kept it away from me, trying to buy time to keep us there for some reason, I told her “fine I can get it later I won’t waste time doing this!”
“What if I hide it?”
“I don’t care we still have to get out of here.” These were my firmly stated words spoken before I ran to the passenger side of the car and opened the door.
“How do I know your pale apple-hair is the same as my Pale apple-hair?”
It became apparent what was happening. She had met a boy inside and flirted with him enough to want to date him. She obviously was trying to buy time because he had not came out yet, and she expected him to.
No sooner had she spoken her last words had her boy came walking through the door, she looked at me hopingly to make sure that it was not the murderer, and I turned my head, because no, he was not the murderer.
However, behind him was a flash as the door closed. When he walked to the front door of the car, he was stabbed in the back. A man wearing a white bunny suit stood motionless behind him, giving me chills that ran up my spine. The girl who had met the boy ran towards the bunny suited man, and he was running away from her. His bunny head fell off of his real head as he ran, and what was left was the most horrendous sight one could imagine. His skin was dead and his eyes fell from their sockets, supported only by their optical nerves. He ran against the girl now, and used a crude instrument which I can only refer to as a tomahawk striking her dead in the head. The first girl I had met, and coincidentally the person with the car keys, ran to take vengeance on him, but had no weapon, so she too was stuck down. I tried to run away but he saw me, and was a faster runner. His awkward run alone was enough to scare me. When all of this had started it had been morning, and when the girls pale applehair had arrived it was already night. I ran behind a telephone pole to try to stop him from his swings, but failed as he struck me dead.
